Beta / Test Program Terms

Last Revised: 13 July 2026

1. What This Is

Spiceup-Lite is currently offered as a test version ("Beta"). This means the platform is still being actively developed, and this addendum sets additional terms that apply on top of — and, where there's a conflict, take priority over — the standard Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Terms & Conditions during this Beta period.

By using Spiceup-Lite during the Beta period, whether as a Restaurant Partner or a Guest placing a test order, you accept the terms in this addendum in addition to the standard documents.

2. What "Beta" Means in Practice

  • Features may change, break, or be removed without advance notice as we continue development.
  • The service may be interrupted for updates, fixes, or maintenance more frequently than a finished commercial product.
  • Some features described in our materials may not yet be fully implemented, or may work differently than described, during the test phase.
  • Support response times are best-effort, not guaranteed.

3. Data During the Beta Period

  • We will make reasonable efforts to preserve data (menus, orders, reservations, account settings) entered during the Beta, but we do not guarantee against data loss during this phase.
  • Restaurant Partners should not treat the Beta as their sole system of record for order history or accounting purposes during this period. Keep your own backup of critical information until the platform exits Beta.

4. Pricing During the Beta

Beta participants receive a 30-day free trial. Standard pricing applies thereafter as described on our pricing page, and we will notify you at least 30 days before any changes to active beta accounts.

5. Feedback

If you provide feedback, bug reports, or suggestions during the Beta, you agree we may use that feedback to improve Spiceup-Lite without any obligation to compensate you or attribute the suggestion to you.

6. No Warranty, Extra Emphasis

In addition to the disclaimers in our standard Terms of Use, during the Beta period the service is provided strictly "as is" with no warranty of fitness for commercial production use. If your restaurant depends on uninterrupted order-taking, treat Spiceup-Lite during this phase as a supplement, not a replacement, for your existing ordering process until Beta ends.

7. Ending the Beta

We may end the Beta period, transition to a paid/general-availability version, or discontinue the Beta entirely at our discretion. We will provide Restaurant Partners with reasonable advance notice before any change that affects pricing or requires action on their part.

8. Contact
